The Teachers’ Orientation Session for the New Academic Year 2026–27, led by Father J. A. Carvalho, was both insightful and engaging. The session emphasized the importance of imparting practical, real-life knowledge to students, encouraging educators to go beyond theoretical instruction. It provided a platform for teachers to critically reflect on their existing teaching practices, thoughtfully mould their methodologies, and adapt them to meet the evolving needs of learners.
A key focus of the session was on helping teachers clearly articulate the objectives of each lesson and effectively connect them to real-life applications, thereby making learning more meaningful and relevant. The interactive nature of the session fostered open dialogue, collaboration, and professional growth, equipping teachers with renewed perspectives and strategies for the academic year ahead.
