Fr. Agnel School, Gautam Nagar, New Delhi was established under Art 30 (i) of the Constitution of India, in the year 1979, with a view to providing a comprehensive education to students up to 10 plus 2 level. It was accorded recognition with effect from 1st May 1981 and is affiliated to the C.B.S.E. Shri K.C. Pant, the then Union Minister of Education laid the foundation stone of the school building on the 3rd of April 1985. The school seeks to nurture the talent of each student in a conducive environment. The school endeavours to contribute towards the holistic development of each individual. Special emphasis is laid on character building and on national integration.
The school provides free education and vocational training to children and adults coming from the weaker sections of society. It also is a center of the National Open School which conducts classes for the differently abled in the school premises.
