The Pre primary children went on an exciting Nature Walk around the school garden. Our little explorers used their senses to observe the beauty of nature, they touched rough tree bark, saw green leaves and colorful flowers, heard birds chirping, and smelled fresh mud after watering.
Children collected fallen leaves, twigs, and small stones learning that we only pick things from the ground and never pluck from plants.
The walk helped them develop new vocabulary like rough, smooth, big, small, and names of common natural objects.
It also encouraged curiosity, careful observation, and respect for living things. Back in class, children happily shared their treasures and created a nature wall, artificial tree cutout etc with their collections.
The activity supported their gross motor, sensory, and language development while building a joyful connection with the environment.
