Father Agnel Balbhawan Hosts Successful Agnel Sports Carnival 2025

Description: Father Agnel Balbhawan recently organized the Agnel Sports Carnival, an inter-school athletics and basketball tournament, on January 28-29, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 10 schools in athletics and 14 schools in basketball. Athletics Championship: The athletics championship was divided into two categories: classes 1-5 and classes 6-12. On January 28, students from classes 1-5 participated in 50m, hurdle, and relay events. The following day, students from classes 6-12 competed in 100m, 200m, 400m, and 4x100m relay events. St. Joseph School emerged as the overall winner with an impressive 92 points. Basketball Tournament: The basketball tournament featured two categories: under-17 boys and under-13 girls. Eight teams participated in the under-17 boys category, while six teams competed in the under-13 girls category. In the under-13 girls final, Fr. Agnel School Noida defeated the host team, Fr. Agnel Balbhawan, with a score of 12-10, securing the tournament title. The under-17 boys final saw a thrilling match between Jesus and Mary Convent School and the host team, Fr. Agnel Balbhawan. The home team emerged victorious, defeating JMC with a narrow margin of 25-24. The Agnel Sports Carnival 2025 was a resounding success, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among students.
