Description: Annual day is a much-awaited event of the year, and this year, it was organized with great enthusiasm and fervor. The theme of this year's annual day celebration was "Jashn-E-Hindustan," and it aimed to showcase the diversity and richness of Indian culture and was celebrated on 25th of February 2023. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Sr. Commandant S P Singh. He is an eminent personality who is serving the country and has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to the nation. His presence added a lot of value and dignity to the event. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, which is considered an auspicious ritual in Indian culture. This was followed by a cultural programme that showcased the various cultural forms and traditions of India. Students from different classes presented skits, dances, and songs that reflected the unique and diverse culture of the different regions of India. The highlight of the event was the speech by Sr. Commandant S P Singh. He emphasized the importance of unity and diversity in a nation like India, which is a melting pot of cultures and traditions. He also shared his experiences of serving the country and how he has witnessed the diversity of India in different regions. He commended the school for organizing such an event that not only celebrates the diversity of India but also promotes unity and harmony among the students. He also lauded the efforts of the teachers and students who had put in a lot of hard work and dedication to make the event a grand success. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates to the students who had excelled in DCL scholarship. The Chief Guest, Sr. Commandant S P Singh, presented the awards and congratulated the students on their achievements.
